Julia Main

Julia Main has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Julia began their career as an Office Administrator at PT Health in 2011 and later transitioned to a Sales Representative role at Andrew Peller Limited in the same year. In 2013, Julia worked as a Teaching Assistant at McMaster University before joining the Burlington Gazette as a Feature Writer in 2015. Julia then served as the Editor-in-Chief at The Fine PRint, Sheridan's student-run PR blog, from 2016 to 2017. Julia also gained experience as a Communications Associate at the Oakville Community Foundation from 2017 to 2018. Julia then became an Online Content Manager at Core Online Marketing, where they worked from 2017 to 2019. Currently, Julia serves as the Director of Communications and Executive Projects at WE.org, a position they have held since November 2019.

Julia Main obtained a Certificate in Public Relations & Corporate Communications from Sheridan College in 2017. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Honours Sociology with a Minor in Psychology from McMaster University in 2013. Additionally, Julia completed the Jack Layton Leadership School and received a certification in Google Analytics for Beginners.
