Sr. Manager Monetization at WeatherBug

Chris Dingus, MBA has held various roles in the digital advertising industry since 2000. At TMP Worldwide, they served as a Client Service Manager from 2000 to 2004. In 2004, they joined WeatherBug as a Sr. Manager Monetization. In this role, they were responsible for leading operations and yield strategy for all programmatically sold digital inventory (Web, Mobile, Video, and Tablet) through various demand relationships. Chris was also responsible for serving, monetizing and optimizing all remnant and programmatic advertising inventory for WeatherBug properties.

In 2008, Chris was promoted to Sr. Programmatic & Yield Revenue Operations, where they maintained the same responsibilities as their previous role, while also taking the lead on improving Fattail process and creating outstanding mobile rich media proposal reports. In 2011, they were promoted to Sr. Yield Management & Programmatic Operations and Mobile Vendor Relations, where they were responsible for serving, monetizing, and optimizing all remnant and programmatic advertising inventory for WeatherBug properties, as well as working with various teams to fill any unsold mobile and display inventory with the partners that can provide the best fill and eCPMs possible.

In 2013, Chris was promoted to Manager, Sales Planners, where they managed and oversaw the day to day operations of the Sales Planners staff, developed optimal work processes, and trained planning team on all new processes and items related to those processes. Chris was also responsible for developing inventory reporting for online and mobile including downloads, developing all new Salesforce protocols and implementing all Salesforce reporting to help manage sales growth, and taking the lead on improving Fattail process.

In 2016, Chris was promoted to Sr. Ad Operations Account Manager Team Lead and Email Manager for East Coast Operations. In 2018, they were promoted to Advertising Operations Account Manager. In 2019, they were promoted to Senior Account Manager, where they oversaw a team of two Account Managers, worked on essential AM duties, and guided and trained the team. In 2020, they were promoted to Account Manager, where they managed WeatherBug client relationships for top performing AEs, worked with clients to on-board and set them up to run within WeatherBug properties, and managed developing new business for current clients.

Chris Dingus, MBA, completed their Bachelor of Science in Business/Marketing from Shepherd College in 1999. Chris then went on to pursue an MBA in Technology Management from the University of Phoenix, which they completed in 2004.
