Challenges and goals you'll meet:

• Locating the pain points in the performance

• Parametrizing RDS

• Checking for the coding best practices regarding DB usage

• Advising on proper DB setup

• Understanding of business user requirements

• Understanding of technical requirements and data models

• Working closely with the Cloud Team (designers, developers) in SCRUM

• Working with business partners across Europe

• Possibility to learn and progress in the area of your interest

Hard skills needs:

• Expertise with AWS RDS (AWS DB technology stack)

• Proficiency within DB MySQL

• Liquibase/Flyway experience

• Experience in general DB Administration

• DB Migration experience is welcome

Soft skills essentials:

• Developed Leadership skills

• This position is a good fit for a self-starter that can lead inter-team improvement projects

• English is a key language. English speaking/writing skills are a must (C1)! (There are English classes available)

• Adapting easily to working concurrently on several different topics and changing focus quickly as needed

• BS in computer science or a related field, or significant equivalent experience
