Amy Tessendorf

Amy Tessendorf has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several years. Amy started their career as an Account Coordinator at Weber Shandwick in 2007 and gradually progressed through various roles, including Assistant Account Executive, Account Executive, Senior Account Executive, Account Supervisor, Group Manager, Account Director, Vice President, and currently, Senior Vice President. Throughout their tenure at Weber Shandwick, Amy has been responsible for managing and implementing public relations initiatives and internal communications programs for consumer and technology accounts. Amy has excelled in identifying storytelling opportunities, developing media events, activating executive thought leadership platforms, providing strategic counsel, and managing finances for multi-million dollar clients across multiple offices. Amy has also demonstrated strong leadership skills in leading a team of professionals in Boston.

Prior to joining Weber Shandwick, Amy gained valuable experience as an Intern at Stanton Communications, where they developed their skills in public relations. Amy also interned at Powell Tate|Weber Shandwick, further enhancing their expertise in the field.

In 2003, Amy worked with the Baltimore Ravens as a Public Relations Intern and Ticket Office Intern. In these roles, they collaborated with the media, coordinated interviews, assisted with news releases, facilitated customer service, performed account maintenance, and assisted with various events.

Additionally, Amy interned as an Internal Communications and Marketing Intern at TEKsystems in 2005, further expanding their knowledge in communication and marketing.
