David Aglar

Digital Integration Lead, North America at Weber Shandwick

David Aglar has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. David began their career as a Ski Instructor at Breckenridge with Vail Resorts, where they obtained level I and level II certifications. David then worked as a Fly Fishing Guide at Blue River Anglers and High Mountain Drifters, gaining valuable experience in customer service and outdoor leadership.

Aglar transitioned into the tech industry, starting at Impulse (formerly known as NetLojix) as an Account Executive, where they learned about web design, user experience, and hosting technology. David then moved on to Brennan Advertising as a Senior Account Executive, managing integrated advertising campaigns for national clients.

In 2007, Aglar joined Weber Shandwick, a global communications and public relations firm. David began as an Interactive Account Supervisor, overseeing web production, social media strategy, and integrated campaigns. David gradually moved up in the company, holding positions such as Group Manager, Vice President, Senior Vice President, and Executive Vice President.

Throughout their tenure at Weber Shandwick, Aglar focused on digital and social media strategy, developing client relationships, and leading teams for major engagements. Their primary clients included Unilever, PepsiCo, GM, US Army, American Airlines, Mattel, Electrolux/Frigidaire, and Intercontinental Hotel Group.

Currently, as the Digital Integration Lead for North America at Weber Shandwick, Aglar is responsible for developing the largest and most strategically significant client work across the region. David specializes in social media and digital platform strategy and leadership, driving innovation and accelerating growth by winning new assignments and establishing partnerships with major social networks.

David Aglar attended Northglenn High School from 1992 to 1995. David then pursued their higher education at the University of Colorado Boulder from 1996 to 1998, focusing on Humanities/Humanistic Studies. Later, from 2000 to 2002, they enrolled in Western Colorado University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration.
