Grethel Zárate

Associate Creative Director at Weber Shandwick

Grethel Zárate has extensive experience in creative direction and art direction. Grethel started their career as an art director at Lowe - ssp3 in 2003 and worked there until 2010. From 2010 to 2014, they worked as a freelance art director. In 2014, they joined Leo Burnett as a senior art director and stayed there until 2019. After that, they worked at Badger & Winters as a senior art director from 2019 to 2022. Currently, they are employed as an associate creative director at Weber Shandwick.

Grethel Zárate completed their graphic design degree at Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano from 1997 to 2001. In 2012 and 2013, they attended the Gnomon School of Visual Effects, Games + Animation, focusing on figure drawing, anatomy, and painting. More recently, in 2018, they studied UX design at General Assembly.
