Melin Thomas

Melin Thomas has a diverse work experience in human resources. Melin started their career as a Bookkeeping Intern at Fete in 2013. In 2014, they worked as an HR Summer Intern at Special Citizens Futures Unlimited, Inc. Melin then joined BCW Global in 2015 and held various roles, including Full-Time HR Intern, HR Associate, and eventually HR Generalist from 2018 to 2019. Since 2019, Melin has been working at Weber Shandwick, where they initially served as a Specialist in People Operations. In this role, they collaborated with teams across the organization, drafted company-wide policies, and worked on the implementation and training of new HR tools. Melin was later promoted to the position of Manager, People Operations, which they currently hold.

Melin Thomas obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA degree in Human Resource Management from Baruch College, where they studied from 2011 to 2015. Additionally, Melin received a certification as a SHRM-CP from the institution SHRM in 2017.
