Paula Cappello

Paula Cappello has over 30 years of legal experience. Paula worked as an Associate at Dunn & Zuckerman from 1990 to 1995, where they handled litigation cases, negotiated loan restructurings, and advised financial institutions on compliance matters. From 1995 to 2008, they served as an Associate General Counsel at IDB Bank. Since 2008, they have been a Managing Director/Associate General Counsel at Webster Bank, where they provide legal counsel to executive management on various areas such as commercial banking, data privacy, lending, human resources, compliance, and corporate governance.

Paula Cappello received their B.S. degree in Accounting and Law and Public Policy from Syracuse University in 1985. Paula then went on to complete their Doctor of Law (JD) degree with a focus on Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law from Fordham University School of Law in 1988.
