Ben Azarraga

Ben Azarraga has extensive experience in the field of design and art direction. Ben is currently working as a Senior Art Director at Weedmaps since April 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Curaleaf as an Art Director from May 2020 to April 2023. Ben also served as a Design Lead at pallaby from December 2018 to May 2021 and as a Design/UX Lead at RSVD from September 2018 to February 2021. Before that, they worked at AvatarLabs as a Senior Art Director from April 2018 to April 2020. Their earlier experiences include working as a Senior Art Director at The Marketing Arm from August 2012 to April 2018, as a Web Developer & Graphic Designer at Counterintuity from June 2011 to August 2012, as a Graphic & Web Designer at Bird Pick Tea & Herb from June 2007 to June 2011, and as a Graphic & Web Designer at Wing Hop Fung Inc. from April 2008 to April 2011. Ben also worked as a Student Assistant at Cal State Long Beach from 2005 to 2007. Ben is skilled in various design areas, including website design, digital and social media advertising, print and packaging design, and creative concepting. Ben has experience in leading and managing junior creatives and executing digital creative projects from start to finish.

From 2005 to 2007, Ben Azarraga attended California State University, Long Beach, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Studio Art with an emphasis on Graphic Design.
