Joshua Scanish

Joshua Scanish has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Joshua is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Weedmaps since May 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Oddball as a Senior Software Engineer from July 2021 to May 2022. Before joining Oddball, Joshua worked at eLocal.com – The Leaders In Pay Per Call, where they held multiple roles including Lead Software Developer from October 2019 to July 2021, Software Developer from May 2014 to October 2019, and Software Development Intern in March 2014. Before their software engineering roles, Joshua worked as an English Teacher at Seoul Language Institute from 2012 to 2013. In addition to their work experience, Joshua also has teaching experience in the field of Ruby on Rails, where they served as a Ruby on Rails Teaching Assistant at Tealeaf Academy from September 2013 to February 2014 and completed various online Rails courses.

Joshua Scanish pursued their undergraduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania from 2007 to 2011. During this time, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. In 2010, they also had the opportunity to study at the esteemed University of Oxford, although it is unclear if they obtained any specific degree or field of study during their time there.
