Laura Weisz

Laura Weisz is a seasoned UX professional with extensive experience in user research and design. Currently serving as a Senior UX Researcher at Weedmaps since November 2021, Laura has previously contributed as a Senior UX Researcher and UX Researcher at AnswerLab, where collaborations with Fortune 100 companies involved implementing diverse user research methodologies to enhance product decision-making and user engagement. Prior to AnswerLab, Laura held the role of UX Designer at Turnitin, where a hybrid approach was utilized to integrate user insights into design processes. Laura's freelance work included full-stack UX design and research at LBUX, alongside instructional leadership at General Assembly, fostering a practical learning environment for aspiring UX designers. Earlier roles encompassed UX research at Caruma Technologies, eCommerce management at Dr. Bailey Skin Care, and operational management at Dhyana Center, complemented by board responsibilities at Aushadi Health Foundation. Laura holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from San Francisco State University and a User Experience Design certificate from General Assembly.
