Nicole Naef

Nicole Naef has extensive experience in various HR roles in different companies. Nicole is currently working as the Head of People Switzerland at wefox since April 2023. Prior to this, they were the Leiterin Personal at Elektrizitätswerke des Kantons Zürich (EKZ) from August 2021 to January 2023.

Before joining EKZ, Nicole served as the Country HR Manager/Senior HR Business Partner Space at RUAG Space from May 2018 to July 2021. In this role, they were responsible for defining HR strategy, organizational development, and core HR processes.

Nicole also worked as the Global HR Director/CoE Talent & Development BBIO at Bruker BioSpin from September 2016 to August 2017. Nicole was a strategic HR Business Partner, focusing on talent and succession planning, development and training, and implementing HR projects.

From April 2014 to August 2016, Nicole held the position of VP Global Human Resources at MAAG Group. Nicole was responsible for global HR management.

Prior to that, Nicole served as the Global Director Human Resources & Shared Services at Vifor Pharma in 2011, Director Human Resources at Alstom Power from 2008 to 2011, and Human Resources & Compensation Benefits Manager at Hewlett-Packard from 2005 to 2008.

Earlier in their career, they were the Human Resources Manager/Deputy Head of HR at Compass Group (Schweiz) AG from 2003 to 2005 and the Human Resources Manager at GE Capital Bank from 2000 to 2003.

Nicole Naef has a diverse education history that spans various fields of study. In 1999, they obtained a Federal Human Resources Certificate from the Business School Zurich, specializing in Human Resources. In 2001, they enrolled at the Graduate School of Business Administration Zurich and completed a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, focusing on subjects such as Business Administration, Business Statistics, Law, Marketing, Finance, Maths, and Management Information Systems/Information Technology.

In 2001, Nicole Naef also received a Six-Sigma Black Belt certification from SIx-Sigma, demonstrating proficiency in process improvement methodologies. Continuing their professional development, they attended training at the Bildungszentrum HLS Zurich in 2012-2013, earning a Certificate in Integral Coaching ECA.

In 2013, they pursued a Diploma in Mental Coaching from the Bildungszentrum HLS Zurich, further enhancing their coaching skills. During the same year, Nicole Naef completed a Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioner program at the Landsiedel NLP Training Schweiz. Their NLP training continued in 2014-2015 with a NLP Master certification from Landsiedel NLP Training Deutschland.

In 2016, Nicole Naef attended the Landsiedel NLP Training program again, this time as an NLP Trainer. Their education continued in recent years, with a range of Advanced Studies certificates from Kalaidos Fachhochschule Schweiz. From 2021-2022, they completed certificates in Applied Psychology, Work and Organizational Psychology, and New Work & Collaboration.
