Zlatko Atanasov

Zlatko Atanasov has a strong background in software engineering and management. Zlatko began their career as a Junior Software Engineer at Progress in March 2016. Zlatko quickly advanced to the role of Software Engineer and then became a Scrum Master in April 2019, managing the Scrum processes for a 12-person team and coordinating cross-team efforts to meet release dates. In June 2020, Zlatko was promoted to Senior Software Engineer at Progress, where they led the full development lifecycle of numerous business critical initiatives and worked closely with UX and PM teams to deliver high-quality product increments. In June 2022, they joined Klips Official as an Engineering Manager, overseeing two teams and a total of 12 people. In this role, they were responsible for technical decision making, system design, and people management. Zlatko is currently working as an Engineering Manager at Runa, starting in March 2023.

Zlatko Atanasov obtained a Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Industrial Management from Technical University Sofia from 2011 to 2015. Zlatko then pursued a Master's degree in the same field of study at the same university from 2015 to 2017. During their education, Zlatko also completed several certifications and programs. Zlatko obtained certifications in Security Awareness and Veracode Application Security Fundamentals from Veracode in April 2017. In June 2016, they completed the Security Awareness Training from the SANS Institute. Additionally, Zlatko earned certifications in JavaScript Developer, One-Year Program - Telerik Software Academy, Web Developer, and C# Developer from Telerik Academy in February 2016 and December 2015, respectively. Zlatko also completed the Business Acumen Training Series from PwC in November 2015, and acquired Communication and Analytical Skills from Trainer.BG in June 2015.
