Gourab De

Gourab De has a long and varied work experience. Gourab began their career in 2005 with a summer internship at GE Global Research. In 2007, they worked as a Research Assistant, Student, and Lamont Library Overnight Circulation Staff at Harvard University. In 2008, they were a Teaching Assistant at Harvard School of Public Health. In 2010, they were an Analyst and Consultant for the NHLBI Candidate Gene Association Resource (CARe). In 2011, they were a Manager at Analysis Group and a Temporary Biostatistics Consultant at Center for Connected Health. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as a Data Scientist at Ginger.io. From 2016 to 2020, they were the VP of Customer Facing Data Science at DataRobot and the Regional VP of Customer Facing Data Science. In 2020, they were the Product Management Lead at Meta. Currently, they are the VP of Customer Success + Machine Learning at Weights & Biases.

Gourab De's education history began in 1990 when they attended Hindu School and obtained their Madhyamik degree in Science. Gourab then attended RKM, Narendrapur from 2000 to 2002, where they obtained their Higher Secondary degree in Science - Statistics. In 2002, they enrolled in the Indian Statistical Institute, where they obtained their BStat degree in Statistics in 2005, followed by their MStat degree in Statistics in 2007. Finally, they attended Harvard University from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained their PhD in Biostatistics.
