Thiago Paiva

Thiago Paiva has a long history of work experience in the product and fintech industries. Thiago started their career in 2012 as a Mentor at Nest Incubadora. In 2013 they joined Wayra as an Acceleration Consultant and Head of Acceleration, where they developed and implemented Wayra's acceleration process. Thiago then became an Independent Member of ABRAII in 2014, representing Wayra and then as an independent member. In 2016, they became an Advisor at QueroQuitar and in 2017 they joined Startupbootcamp FinTech as a Portfolio Development Director for Scale Program and Operations & Portfolio Director. In 2018, they became a Partner at Liquia Digital Assets. In 2019, they joined Oyster Financial, Inc. as a Product Manager and also became a Techcrunch Contributor. In 2021, they joined Welbe Care as the Head of Product and in 2022 they became a Lecturer in Product Manager at Collective Academy.

Thiago Paiva has a varied educational background. In 2005 they graduated from Universidade Estadual de Campinas with a degree in Control and Automation Engineering. In 2010 they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from BI International, and in the same year they completed an Innovation Program at the University of California, Berkeley. In 2013 they attended Babson College for the Babson International Program for the Development of Entrepreneurs, Executives and Shareholders. In 2016 they completed a General Business Studies Certificate with Concentration in Finance from the University of California, Los Angeles, as well as a Venture Deals course from the Kauffman Fellow Academy and a Fintech Future Commerce Course from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Additionally, Thiago Paiva holds certifications from the CFA Institute, The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, Business Model Foundry, and a Degree in French Language Studies from Delf B2.
