John Rourke

John Rourke has worked in various roles and companies throughout their career. John began their career as a Senior Auditor at Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton, where they were responsible for planning and implementing audits for a range of organizations. After that, they joined Future Electronics as the Group Finance Director for Europe, overseeing financial operations.

In 2005, Rourke became the Group CFO at Bosieboo, a multi-channel retailer specializing in children's and family lifestyle products. John was involved in all aspects of the company's value chain, from design to sales.

Rourke then moved to Welbilt Inc., where they held several positions. John served as the Finance and Operations Director, supporting the UK Group Managing Director and overseeing finance, administration, and operations for the Distribution Business. John later became the Managing Director of Manitowoc UK Food Service, where they successfully turned around a loss-making business through restructuring efforts. Rourke also held the role of Planning and Business Development Director for EMEA and Guildford Site Director at Welbilt Inc.

Their most recent roles at Welbilt Inc. include Vice President of Marketing & Finance for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, and Vice President of Marketing & Sales Operations for the same region. In these roles, Rourke was responsible for managing key accounts, channel business, and opportunity management. John also played a crucial role in developing Salesforce as a CRM package.

John Rourke holds a diverse education history, starting with their enrollment at Dawson College from 1989 to 1990. During this time, they pursued a degree in Retail, specifically focusing on Accountancy. Following this, John attended Concordia University from 1990 to 1992, where they earned their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree, specializing in Accountancy. Subsequently, they pursued a Graduate Diploma in Accountancy at McGill University, graduating in 1993.

In 2008, John furthered their education in a different field by enrolling at Le Cordon Bleu London. John completed the Intermediate Chefs Training program, gaining expertise in Cuisine.

John Rourke has also obtained additional certifications throughout their professional career. In 1997, they earned the CA, CPA certification from the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants. More recently, in August 2018, they obtained a certification in Ken Blanchard on Servant Leadership from LinkedIn.
