Mark Ashford

Mark Ashford has a strong background in business development, sales, and finance. Mark currently holds the position of Chief Business Development Officer at WeLink and is also a Member of the Board of Directors. Prior to joining WeLink, Mark held various leadership roles at Cambridge Broadband Networks Limited (CBNL), including Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Vice President of Business Development. During their time at CBNL, Mark played a crucial role in building mmWave networks and securing funding for pre 5G solutions. Mark also received recognition for their innovation in FWA mmWave in the USA. Before CBNL, Mark worked as a Sales Operations Consultant at Apertio and served in various finance and strategy roles at Nokia. Mark led international CFO organizations, designed and implemented global account governance models, and developed partnerships for shared infrastructure and wholesale business strategy. Mark's experience demonstrates their expertise in driving business growth, developing strategic partnerships, and managing financial operations.

Mark Ashford attended Imperial College London from 1992 to 1995, where they obtained a Bsc (Hons) degree in Physics. Following this, they pursued further education and completed CIMA - ACMA from 1996 to 2000, earning a degree in Chartered management accountancy.
