About our Service Manager

Our ideal candidate is a strategic leader with a strong desire to grow our Service Department. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn our products and clients while driving continuous improvement. If you are mechanically inclined and have a passion for customer satisfaction and compliance, this is the position for you.

Responsibilities

  • Review service calls to ensure successful resolution; approve expense reports for field service jobs

  • Report on key metrics and communicate their impact on business operations

  • Evaluate warranty repairs; partner with Engineering and Technical Experts for any identified issues

  • Oversee service technicians and ensure health and safety compliance per industry standards

  • Coordinate and participate in technical training programs as needed

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications; ability to learn Welker’s ERP system
  • Prior experience managing others
  • Knowledge of field service work and industry standards; experience preferred
  • Must be able to lift and carry at least 50 lbs. unassisted
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
  • High school diploma or equivalent, supplemented by hands-on or vocational school training

This is a full-time position that may need occasional travel. Starting salary is determined by experience, education, and potential.
