Erin Sanders

Erin Sanders, MSN, APRN, AGNP-C, has extensive work experience in the healthcare field. Erin is currently working at WellBe Senior Medical as the Clinical Director and an Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner. Prior to this, Erin worked at Signify Health as an Adult Nurse Practitioner, where they focused on providing primary care in rehabilitation, geriatrics, and post-acute/long-term care settings. Before that, they worked at KareFirst as an Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner, where they provided primary and preventative care. Erin also has experience as a Registered Nurse at Rush University Medical Center, specializing in oncology/hematology and med/surg inpatient care. Their responsibilities included direct patient care, communication with multi-disciplinary team members, and medication administration. Earlier in their career, they worked at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, first as a Registered Nurse and then as a Clinical Coordinator. In these roles, they provided patient care, served as a charge nurse, and managed the daily operations of a 23-bed inpatient unit. Erin's healthcare journey began at Bronson Healthcare, where they worked as a Nurse Extern in the emergency department and later as a Patient Care Technician. Erin Sanders, MSN, APRN, AGNP-C completed their Master's Degree in Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner at RUSH University in 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Science from Western Michigan University in 2007. Erin has additional certifications including Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner from AANPCP American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Program in 2015, Chemotherapy Biotherapy Certified from the Oncology Nursing Society in 2012, and Medical Surgical Certified Nurse from the Medical-Surgical Nursing Certification Board in 2010. Erin also holds a BLS certification from the American Heart Association obtained in October 2020.
