Imre Berger

Imre Berger is the Founding Director of the Max Planck Centre for Minimal Biology at the University of Bristol. Imre holds the title of Professor of Biochemistry and Chemistry with a joint appointment. Imre is also an ERC Investigator and the Co-Director of the Bristol Biodesign Institute. Additionally, Imre is the Co-founder and CSO of Halo Therapeutics Ltd. Imre serves as a Wellcome Trust Senior Investigator and previously worked as a Coordinator for the EC FP7 ComplexINC project. With a background in Molecular Biology and Structural Biology, Imre has held various positions at institutions such as EMBL and ETH Zurich.
