Virginie Cerdeira

Virginie Cerdeira has extensive experience in museum and project management, currently serving as a Management and Team Assistant and Project Leader for the Mummies Project at the Wellcome Trust since January 2010. This project involves investigating South American mummies and includes facilitating CT scanning for a Virtual Autopsy Table. Virginie also has a background as a Project Assistant, overseeing archaeological analyses and coordinating the transportation of museum objects. Previous roles include IT Administrator at London 2012, volunteer work at prestigious institutions such as The British Museum and the Petrie Museum, and a work placement at the Egyptian Museum of Cairo. Virginie holds a Master's in Artefact Studies in Archaeology from UCL and a BA in History of Art and Archaeology from Université Paul Valéry - Montpellier III.
