We're seeking a highly motivated and technically adept Digital Marketing Operations Manager to lead the optimization of our marketing technology stack and website. This role is a hybrid of strategic leadership and hands-on execution, focusing on both the development of sophisticated marketing automation campaigns within Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) and Pardot, as well as the technical optimization and project management of our website. The ideal candidate will be data-driven, have a passion for customer engagement, and possess a deep understanding of both marketing automation platforms, website technologies and digital performance monitoring. 

Marketing Automation: 

  • SFMC & Pardot Expert: Serve as the technical expert for SFMC and Pardot, managing platform configurations, integrations, data flows, and security/authentication protocols. SFMC certification is a plus.

  • Journey Architecture: Architect, design, and implement complex, multi-channel customer journeys that leverage automation, personalization, and dynamic content to maximize engagement.

  • Technical Implementation: Build and maintain data extensions, create SQL queries, and develop advanced segmentation strategies.

  • Process Optimization: Establish and continually refine standardized processes for campaign execution, testing, quality assurance, and deployment.

  • Performance Monitoring: Utilize advanced analytics to track campaign performance, deliverability, and attribution. Identify bottlenecks and optimization opportunities.

  • Data Integration: Collaborate with IT and data teams to seamlessly integrate marketing data across platforms (CRM, analytics, etc.).

  • Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues within SFMC and Pardot, working with Salesforce support as needed.

Website Management: 

  • CMS & Content: Own the end-to-end content publishing. Convert designs into web pages, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines, SEO, and UX principles.

  • Project Management: Intake, prioritize, and manage requests for website updates and new landing pages. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, development, SEO)

  • to ensure timely execution.

  • Website Optimization: Routinely audit content for accuracy and effectiveness. Partner with growth marketing to optimize landing page experiences and SEO teams for keyword-driven content and technical optimization.

  • Technical Support: Troubleshoot website issues and liaise with the development team for more complex fixes. Develop documentation and provide guidance to other content contributors.

  • Performance Monitoring: Track website performance using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to identify areas for improvement in user experience, conversion rates, and overall site health.

  • Technical Enhancements: Identify opportunities for technical enhancements to the website, such as improving page load speed, implementing new features, or optimizing mobile responsiveness.

  • Security & Maintenance: Ensure website security by implementing best practices and staying up to date with security patches. Perform regular maintenance tasks to keep the website running smoothly.

Leadership & Collaboration: 

  • Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior team members on marketing automation best practices, technical skills, and process optimization.

  • Cross-functional Partnership: Partner with marketing, design, client success, sales, IT, and data analytics teams to define requirements, establish data governance, and ensure seamless integration of marketing technology initiatives.

  • Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage relationships with external vendors for marketing technology solutions, ensuring optimal performance and value.

Required Skills & Experience

Experience: 

  • 5+ years of hands-on technical experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), including Journey Builder, Email Studio, Content Builder, Analytics and Automation Studio.

  • 5+ years of experience with Pardot, including complex automation rules, dynamic content, and lead scoring models.

  • Proven track record of optimizing marketing automation processes and improving campaign performance through data-driven insights.

Technical Skills: 

  • Experience with SQL or similar scripting languages.

  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Google Data Studio, Power BI) to create actionable dashboards.

  • Understanding of web development frameworks (e.g., WordPress, Webflow) and technical SEO principles.

Soft Skills: 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.

  • Strong project management and organizational abilities.

  • Data-driven mindset and a passion for continuous improvement.

Welldoc operates in ISO 13485 and MDSAP regulated and HITRUST compliant environments. Therefore, it is expected that all employees will have either, prior experience working in those environments or, will be trained to understand the requirements needed to work and support those requirements and culture as they relate to individual roles and responsibilities.

Required Education  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.

Compensation and Benefits:

WellDoc offers a competitive compensation package including generous PTO, pre-IPO stock options, medical insurance, dental plan, vision care, flexible spending account, and 401(k). The anticipated salary range for this position is between $95-120K/year.
