Natalie Bachman

Natalie Bachman serves as vice president of Strategic Initiatives. This role focuses on delivering and tracking value generation across the organization by acting as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, the enterprise portfolio management office (EPMO), business owners and key stakeholders to help ensure strategic initiatives — both current and in the future — are executed smoothly, effectively and sustainably.

Natalie joined Wellmark in September 2011 as director of Benefits and Compensation. She was promoted to director of Strategic Sales Operations in March 2014, providing strategy development, implementation, and operations for the Sales division, ensuring connections are made between initiatives.

Prior to joining Wellmark, Natalie was a human resources director at Principal Financial Group where she served on the leadership team for the health division. She also held roles as benefit director for the organization, was HR Lead for merger and acquisition work, and several positions with product development and actuarial work in the retirement division.

She volunteers as a board member for the Des Moines Area Community College Foundation and is a co-founder of an angel investor firm.
