Justin W. currently serves as the Executive Vice Principal at Wellspring Academy Trust since January 2023, overseeing Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), personal development, continuous professional development, wellbeing, and quality assurance across three alternative provision centres, as well as leading the Key Stage 4 school. Prior to this role, Justin held several positions including Deputy Head of Centre at Harbour Learning Trust from January 2019 to January 2023 and roles at Humber Teaching School, where responsibilities included facilitating school improvement and supporting teaching professionals. Justin's extensive experience in education also includes a variety of leadership roles at David Ross Education Trust from September 2008 to January 2019, where duties included assistant principal, academy improvement leader, and curriculum leader in Physical Education. Justin W. holds a degree in Secondary Physical Education with Qualified Teacher Status from Leeds Beckett University, completed between 2004 and 2008, and attended Toll Bar BEC for secondary education.
