Percy Birdy

Percy Birdy is the current Chief Financial Officer at Welspun. Previously, they were the Executive VP of Finance at Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd from November 2007 to July 2018. In this role, they were responsible for Business Finance and Corporate Finance for the company on a global scale. Prior to this, Percy was the Global Finance Controller at Essel Propack Limited from January 2002 to December 2007. In this role, they were responsible for Financial Analysis, performance monitoring of global subsidiaries, implementation of accounting policies and procedures, monitoring of subsidiary Finance Managers and Regional Finance Controllers, Quarterly results, Budgeting and MIS, M&A analysis, Due diligence exercises, Pricing analysis and assisting COO in decision-making, among other things.

Percy Birdy completed their BCom from Sydenham College and their schooling from New Era High School, Mumbai.

Their manager is Vipul Mathur, MD & CEO. They are on a team with Godfrey John - CEO, Pipe Vertical, T.S. Kathayat - President & Global Operation Head, Pipe Business.
