Annette Baez

Annette Baez has extensive work experience in project management, data strategy, and digital transformation.

Annette is currently working at WennSoft as an Implementation Project Manager since September 2021.

Prior to that, they worked at LaSalle Investment Management as a Regional Digital Agile Manager from 2019 to 2020. In this role, they collaborated with the Global Head of Data Strategy and Engineering on a digital transformation initiative and managed offshore teams. Annette also led stakeholder meetings and provided updates on digital transformation progress.

From 2017 to 2019, Annette worked at Altus Group as a Consultant. Annette focused on improving software integration and testing processes. Annette also communicated with clients to understand their needs and coordinate with the internal IT department for solutions.

Before that, they worked at GE Capital in various roles. From 2012 to 2017, they served as a Senior Project Manager, leading the Testing Center of Excellence (TCoE) program and managing cross-functional teams. Annette also worked as a Business Analyst from 2009 to 2012, where they transformed the user acceptance testing process and handled release management.

Annette's career at GE Capital began in 2001, where they initially worked as an Asset Manager and later as a Six Sigma Black Belt. In the latter role, they worked on cross-functional teams, supervised projects, and facilitated workshops to improve financial processes.

Prior to joining GE Capital, they worked at Heller Financial as a National Portfolio Analyst from 1999 to 2001.

Annette Baez holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting from Northeastern Illinois University. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications over the years. Annette is a certified public accountant, having received their certification from the Illinois Board of Examiners in February 1997. Annette also holds a Six Sigma Black Belt Certification from GE Capital obtained in December 2008.

Annette has further expanded their professional qualifications with various certifications in different domains. Annette obtained a Market Analysis for Commercial Investment Real Estate certification from the CCIM Institute in June 2008 and a Financial Analysis for Commercial Investment Real Estate certification from the same institute in May 2006. Annette received a Quality Assurance (QA) Fundamentals and Manual Testing certification from ACT - Advanced Computer Training in October 2010.

Furthermore, they hold two project management certifications. Annette obtained their Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification from the Project Management Institute in May 2016 and their PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)® certification from the same institute in November 2015.

Finally, in December 2017, Annette obtained an ARGUS Software Certification (ASC) from Altus Group, demonstrating proficiency in a specialized software program related to their field.
