Sandra Gilliland

Sandra Gilliland is an experienced learning and development professional with over 15 years in various leadership roles. From May 2019 to April 2024, Sandra served as Senior Manager of Learning and Development at Werner Enterprises, where responsibilities included supervising a team of seven, developing corporate learning and leadership training, and implementing a company-wide mentoring program. Prior to this, Sandra held the position of Manager of Corporate Learning, focusing on training initiatives for new supervisors and implementing Workday, the company's LMS platform. Sandra also has a background in safety training and public affairs, with previous roles at Time Warner Cable and the Lincoln Journal Star. Sandra holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communications from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
