Dan Weiss has a diverse work experience spanning several roles in finance and accounting. Dan began their career at Deloitte UK in 2002, working in tax. Dan then moved to Deloitte in 2004, where they worked in audit until 2008. In 2008, Weiss joined WesBanco as the SEC Reporting Manager, responsible for external SEC and regulatory reporting. Dan then moved up to Vice President and Assistant Controller in 2012, where they supervised accounting staff for an $8.2 billion financial institution. In 2015, Weiss became the Senior Vice President and Assistant Controller, and in 2017, they were appointed as the SVP & Corporate Controller, overseeing all accounting functions for WesBanco. In 2021, they briefly served as the Chief Accounting Officer, and as of January 2022, they are the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, responsible for various financial activities including budgeting, forecasting, and investor relations.
