Krista van Hooser-Perin

Krista Van Hooser-Perin has extensive experience in various roles within the fields of organizational learning, leadership development, and program coordination. Krista most recently worked at WesleyLife as the Director of Organizational Learning, where they were responsible for creating and delivering training programs for leaders and team members, developing an effective onboarding process, and implementing a leadership academy. Prior to that, they served as an Assistant Director at Mercy Child Development Center and worked as a Program Coordinator II at Iowa State University. Krista also has experience as a Supported Community Living & Respite Provider at ChildServe and as a Choreographer at National American Miss. Overall, Krista's work experience showcases their expertise in training and development, leadership, and program coordination.

Krista Van Hooser-Perin completed their education with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Human Development and Family Studies from Iowa State University in 2009. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Clinical Psychology from the University of Northern Iowa in 2003 and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology from Cedarville University in 2000. In addition to their academic achievements, they have obtained several certifications including Mental Health First Aid Instructor, Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS), 5 Languages of Appreciation in the Workplace (Certified Trainer), Feedback & Coaching - Certified Facilitator, Mental Health First Aid, SL II (Certified Trainer), and Difficult Conversations - Certified Facilitator.
