Bob Maupin has had a long and varied career in the aviation industry. Bob began their career in 1975 as an Aircraft Mechanic in the United States Air Force. In 1985 they joined Continental Airlines as a Systems Analyst, where they designed, developed, and supported aircraft maintenance related mission critical software systems. In 1999 they joined BORN Consulting as a Software Development Project Manager, where they managed the development of an ISP key metric usage and fiber optic deployment reporting web system. From 2005 to 2007 they worked at HealthONE as an IT Development Manager, developing reports and reporting application dashboards. From 2007 to 2013 they worked at United Airlines as a Senior Applications Developer, TechOps IT, where they worked as a C# developer on an agile team to develop a company-wide shift bid web application. From 2017 to 2018 they worked at Cognizant/Travelport as a Business Analyst, analyzing existing data processing methods, XML request and response structures, and documenting requirements in User Stories in an Agile development environment. Bob then joined West 4th Strategy, LLC in 2018 as a Business Intelligence Analyst.
Bob Maupin attended Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University from 1979 to 1981, studying Airframe and Powerplant Maintenance. In July 1981, they obtained an FAA Airframe and Powerplant License from the FAA. From 1982 to 1985, they attended UCD, studying EE/CS.
