Michael Graney

Michael Graney serves as the Deputy Secretary of Commerce at the West Virginia Department of Commerce since February 2021 and has held the position of Executive Director at the West Virginia Development Office since September 2018. With extensive experience in the petroleum and real estate sectors, Graney previously held roles including Principal at M&P, LLC; Darden Properties, LLC; and West Virginia Warehousing, LLC from January 1992 to September 2018, and Co-founder and Managing Partner at Mountain State Motor Fuels, LLC between January 2012 and June 2015. Additional experience includes serving as President of One Stop from January 1991 to July 2015 and Manager of Retail Operations for Petroleum Products Inc. from January 1991 to December 2010. Graney's educational background includes an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and a BA from the University of Virginia.
