Danielle Durant

Danielle Durant serves as Principal Research Associate at Westat, directing the AHRQ Academy for Integrating Behavioral Health and Primary Care since March 2023. Previously, Danielle was an Assistant Professor in Healthcare Administration at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, where innovative curriculum development focused on quality management and patient safety, alongside establishing collaborative research partnerships with regional healthcare clients. Prior roles include Assistant Professor at Widener University, where Danielle developed healthcare management courses and contributed to MBA program accreditation, and various research and project management positions at HANYS, the New York State Department of Health, and other organizations. Danielle holds a PhD in Public Health Management and Policy from the University at Albany and multiple degrees in healthcare and business disciplines.
