James Howell

James Howell has extensive work experience in various roles related to operations, supply chain management, and business operations. James is currently the Director of Operations at Western Global, a position they have held since October 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Supply Chain at NORMA Group from April 2018 to October 2021, where they were responsible for various aspects of supply planning, inventory planning, production scheduling, and logistics. From April 2015 to April 2018, James worked as the Head of Business Operations at WebWayOne, where they focused on driving profit growth, scalability, and cost efficiency across the organization. James also held the role of Service Delivery Manager at Construction Specialties UK Ltd from January 2014 to April 2015, overseeing service delivery performance, procurement, production planning, and installation project delivery. In their earlier career, James worked at Unipart Group as a Global Supply Chain Manager from December 2008 to December 2013, managing supply chain operations for growth markets and leading various supply chain projects. Before that, they worked as a Senior Supply Chain Management Consultant at Total Logistics from April 2006 to December 2008. James also has experience working at BMW (UK) Manufacturing Ltd as a Programme Planning Manager and Order Planning Manager from April 2001 to March 2006, where they were responsible for supply planning, production planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
