James E. Larson is an experienced fundraising professional with a strong background in grant management and development consulting. Currently serving as Senior Foundations Relations Officer at Western Resource Advocates since August 2020, James oversees fundraising activities and leads proposal development efforts. Previous roles include Grants Manager at Perry Davis Associates, Development Associate at the Center for Court Innovation, and Graduate Teaching Associate at Columbia University, where James contributed to academic projects in negotiation and conflict resolution. James also has experience with the United Nations as an intern in the Ombuds and Mediation Services Office and held positions in communication and merchandising. James holds a Master’s Degree in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution from Columbia University and a Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
