Steve Stevens joined Western Credit Union in January of 2020 and quickly made himself a vital asset to the team, climbing the ranks from SVP, Digital Experience and Innovation to Chief Digital Officer. Highlights of his tenure at Westerra include leading effective teams that are contributing to the success of Westerra’s “Digital First” efforts and making this focus a strategic priority at a pace that has positioned Westerra well to serve members and community.

An innovative executive, Steve is skilled at solving tomorrow’s business challenges through the lens of digital solutions that enhance revenue growth, control costs and increase customer satisfaction. He has a record of establishing and continuously improving eCommerce and internal digital efficiencies that create an outstanding customer experience. Steve holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from St. Edward’s University. He is a Certified Chief Executive with the Credit Union Executives Society CEO Institute and completed the Consumer Bankers Association Executive Banking School (formerly known as Graduate School of Retail Bank Management) and the CUES Advanced School of Consumer Lending programs.
