Ahmad S.

Ahmad S. has a diverse work experience in the construction and engineering industry. Ahmad started their career at CH2M Hill Canada Ltd. as a Project Engineer, working on highway projects and completing concrete bridge testing services. After that, Ahmad worked at the City of Edmonton as a Transportation Engineer, supervising the design of arterial roadways and reviewing design submissions for new development projects. Ahmad then moved on to become a Project Manager at ATCO Electric, where they managed transmission projects and led a multi-disciplined team through all EPC activities. Following their time at ATCO Electric, Ahmad joined MCL Group Ltd. as the Vice President of Projects & Business Development, overseeing civil construction projects and leading a project delivery team. Most recently, they served as the Area Manager at EllisDon, providing project management and technical expertise for the Valleyline LRT infrastructure project. Ahmad is currently working as the EVP of Operational Excellence at WesTower Communications Ltd., where they are responsible for delivering exceptional services in engineering, design, fabrication, construction, project management, and wireline services for the telecommunications and broadcast industry.

Ahmad S. attended the University of Alberta from 2000 to 2005, where they completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering Co-op.
