Richard Johnson

Richard Johnson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in cybersecurity and architectural research, currently serving as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Westpac since June 2009. Prior to this role, Richard held multiple positions at Westpac, including Head of Architecture Research & Cybercrime and Head of Technical Security Services, from 2003 to 2009. Earlier career experience includes serving as Chief Security Engineer at Bankers Trust Australia Limited from 2000 to 2003. Richard holds a Bachelor of Economics degree with a focus on Accounting and Finance from the University of Sydney, completed from 1990 to 1994, and completed HSC at Marsden High School from 1984 to 1989.
