Long Phan began their career in 2003 as a Lead Technical Director at Sony Cinematics, where they were responsible for modeling, rigging, and animating characters, as well as programming to batch certain processes, build user interfaces, and create random tools. In 2008, they moved to Electronic Arts (Dice Los Angles) as a Lead Technical Artist, where they developed rigging pipelines and collaborated in the creation of the animation system. Finally, in 2019, they joined Wevr as a Lead Technical Artist, where they created the rigging and animation pipelines for the "Harry Potter VR" project, developed the characters clothing physics systems, and integrated assets into the game engine.
Long Phan received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Design from the University of California, Los Angeles between 1991 and 1994.
