Michael Poppmeier

Michael Poppmeier has extensive experience in community management and coaching, currently serving as a Community Manager and Community Team Lead at WeWork since September 2020. Previously, Michael worked as a Youth Coach/Player Coach at SC1880 Frankfurt and as a Development Officer at Wild Rugby Academy. Michael's earlier roles include Service Operational Manager at Industro-clean, Indoor Sales Team Leader and Sales Consultant at Rentokil-Initial South Africa, and Assistant Manager at Oceana Beach & Wildlife Resort, where responsibilities encompassed general operations and guest relations. Michael has a background as a professional rugby player and has contributed to rugby development as a Rugby Development Officer. Education includes a level 3 Rugby qualification from IRB World Rugby, an Operational Management Diploma from London College, and multiple rugby coaching certifications.
