Gaurav Bansal

Gaurav Bansal has extensive work experience across various industries and roles. Gaurav is currently working as the Vice President of Pricing & Valuation at WEX since February 2023. Prior to this, they took a sabbatical from August 2021 to December 2022 for personal reasons.

Before their sabbatical, Gaurav worked at Capital One as a Vice President from August 2017 to July 2021. Gaurav also served as a Principal at The Boston Consulting Group from July 2012 to June 2017.

Gaurav's earlier experience includes working as an Equity Derivatives Trader and Fixed Income Analyst at Citi from August 2006 to November 2011. Gaurav started their career in the technology sector as a Software Engineer/System Analyst at Mastek/Deloitte Consulting Offshore Technology Group from January 2002 to June 2002. Gaurav also worked as a Software Engineer at Sapient from September 2001 to December 2001.

Throughout their career, Gaurav Bansal has demonstrated expertise in pricing, valuation, risk management, derivatives trading, and software engineering. Gaurav has a strong track record of leadership and has mentored junior traders and analysts in their previous roles.

Gaurav Bansal completed a B Tech degree in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, between 1997 and 2001. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University, between 2002 and 2004.
