Paul Boorer

Paul Boorer has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Paul is currently the Vice President of Payments & Treasury Platforms at WEX since October 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President of Travel Technology at WEX from February 2021 to October 2022.

Before joining WEX, Paul worked at Optal as the Chief Technology Officer from August 2017 to February 2021 and as the Head of Technology from September 2013 to August 2017. Paul also worked at Kiandra IT as a Solution Architect for a brief period in 2013.

Paul's earlier experience includes working at National Australia Bank as a Solution Architect from May 2010 to June 2013 and at Infosys Australia as a Technical Architect from November 2005 to April 2010, and a Senior Analyst Programmer from August 2002 to November 2005.

Paul began their career at TradeData International as an Applications Developer, where they were involved in designing and developing international trade analysis software. Paul worked at TradeData International from June 2000 to August 2002.

Paul also has experience working at BHP as an Electrical & Computer Systems Engineer from December 1998 to June 2000 and as an Electrical Engineering Scholarship Cadet from July 1996 to June 1997.

Paul Boorer attended the University of Melbourne from 1993 to 1998, where they obtained a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (Hons) degree with a focus on Communications and Computer Control.
