Elijah McKenzie

Elijah McKenzie is an experienced media professional with a diverse background in journalism, production, and community service. Currently serving as a Photojournalist at WHAS-TV since July 2022, Elijah has also contributed to KY Place as a Producer, Director, and Editor since May 2015, adeptly managing projects on a zero-dollar budget. Previous roles include therapeutic support for HIV-positive clients at House of Ruth Louisville, reporting and multimedia production for Insider Louisville and Broken Sidewalk, and community engagement with Kentucky Refugee Ministries and Kentuckians For The Commonwealth. Elijah held leadership positions in various publications, including Editor-in-Chief at The Louisville Cardinal, and possesses a Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology and Communication from the University of Louisville.
