Matt Hamilton, CPA

Matt Hamilton, CPA has a diverse and extensive work experience in the finance and accounting industry. Matt is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Wheeler Bio, Inc. since January 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President of Finance at Cytovance Biologics from June 2018 to December 2021. Before that, they worked as the Director of FP&A / Operations Controller at Cytovance Biologics from October 2015 to June 2018.

Before joining Cytovance Biologics, Matt worked at Serva Group where they served as the Corporate Controller from December 2014 to September 2015. Matt also held the role of Manufacturing Controller from February 2012 to December 2014.

Prior to their time at Serva Group, Matt worked at Johnson Controls, where they held multiple roles including Plant Controller from March 2007 to February 2012, UPG Division Accounting Manager from February 2006 to March 2007, and Sr Cost Accountant from May 2005 to February 2006.

Matt started their career at Bridgestone, where they worked as a Cost Accountant from February 2003 to May 2005. Before this, they worked as an Auditor at Cole & Reed, P.C. from 2001. Matt began their professional journey as an Accountant at Bridgestone in 2000.

Matt Hamilton, CPA obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting from the University of Oklahoma. Matt also holds the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification, which was obtained from the Oklahoma Accountancy Board.
