Todd Smith

Todd Smith is the current Chief Financial Officer at Wheels Up. Prior to their current position, they served as the Chief Financial Officer for GE Power, GE Healthcare Life Sciences, and GE Capital International.

At GE Power, Todd led the finance organization for an $11B company with 17,000 employees. Todd was responsible for gas turbine equipment sales and full turnkey power plant delivery. During their time at GE Power, Todd partnered with the CEO and commercial leader to triage a portfolio of projects ranging from $200MM to $1B+, and they implemented debt, equity, and export credit agency financing solutions for key customers. Todd also overhauled the pricing strategy, establishing standard evaluation criteria, including KPIs and risk scoring.

Before GE Power, Todd served as the Chief Financial Officer for GE Healthcare Life Sciences and GE Capital International. At GE Healthcare Life Sciences, they were responsible for the finance organization of a $3B business with 7,000 employees. Todd managed all aspects of the finance function, including financial planning and analysis, accounting, tax, treasury, and investor relations. At GE Capital International, Todd was responsible for leading the finance organization for a $40B business with 70,000 employees. Todd managed all aspects of the finance function, including financial planning and analysis, accounting, tax, treasury, and investor relations.

Todd Smith has extensive experience in finance and has been a Chief Financial Officer for three different companies. Todd is currently using their experience to help Wheels Up grow and succeed.

Todd Smith's educational career includes a Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration from the University of Florida. Todd's field of study was finance and management.
