Jason Shtand

Jason Shtand is a skilled geology professional with extensive experience in the oil and gas sector. Currently serving as Geology Manager at Whitecap Resources Inc. since January 2021, Jason oversees geological operations in Eastern and Weyburn Saskatchewan. Prior to this role, Jason worked at NAL Resources from May 2011 to January 2021 as a Geologist, focusing on the Viking resource play's geology and exploration in Plenty and Dodsland Saskatchewan. Jason's career includes a position as Wellsite Geologist at Cabra Consulting from October 2007 to May 2011, where responsibilities encompassed all aspects of well site geology operations. Earlier experience includes a role as Field Geologist at Alpine Quarries Inc. from 2006 to 2007, conducting field research on the Triassic Spray River group. Jason holds a B.Sc. in Geology from the University of Calgary, completed in 2007.
