Jonathon Rendina

Senior Director Of Research, Whitman-walker Institute at Whitman-Walker Health

Jonathon Rendina, PhD, MPH has a robust work experience history. Jonathon is currently serving as the Associate Research Professor at The George Washington University- Milken Institute School of Public Health, where they started in August 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Director of Research at Whitman-Walker, starting in June 2021. From 2013 to 2021, they worked at Hunter College, initially as an Adjunct Assistant Professor and then as an Assistant Professor. Additionally, they served as the Director and Co-Director at PRIDE Health Research Consortium from 2019 to 2021. In their earlier career, they held multiple roles at the Center for HIV Educational Studies & Training (CHEST) from 2008 to 2018, including Director of Quantitative Methods and Research Scientist.

Jonathon Rendina earned their BPhil in Sexuality & Health, Psychology from Penn State University in 2008. Jonathon went on to attain their MPH in Public Health with a focus on Epidemiology & Biostatistics from Hunter College in 2012. Continuing their education, they completed their MA in Psychology and MPhil in Psychology from The Graduate Center, City University of New York in 2012. Jonathon Rendina finalized their education by obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Social Psychology from The Graduate Center, City University of New York in 2014.
