Ameya Ambegaonkar

Ameya Ambegaonkar has a diverse range of work experience in the field of software engineering. Ameya is currently working as a Software Engineering Lead at Wiley since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Pearson from 2014 to 2022, where they held roles such as Principal Software Engineer and Senior Software Developer. At Pearson, they developed microservices, implemented continuous integration/continuous delivery (CICD) frameworks, and designed REST APIs. Before joining Pearson, Ameya worked at Watson Career and Alumni Connections at Binghamton University as a Graduate Student Assistant, where they developed websites, forms, and provided IT support. Ameya also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Binghamton University, where they designed algorithms for renewable energy harvesting and conducted simulations. Ameya's earlier work experience includes a role as a Software Engineer at Timeless Learning Technologies, where they worked on configuring and deploying cloud infrastructure and developing modules for e-learning applications.

Ameya Ambegaonkar completed a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University, with a duration from 2007 to 2011. Later, from 2012 to 2014, Ameya pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science from Binghamton University. In 2017 to 2018, they attended United States University and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Management Information Systems, General.

Additionally, Ameya has obtained several certifications to enhance their skill set. They received the Rest API (Intermediate) Certificate from HackerRank in November 2023. In December 2020, they earned the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS). Furthermore, in June 2013, Ameya obtained the Microsoft Technology Associate - Networking certification from Microsoft.
