Kevin Monaco is the current Senior Vice President, Treasurer and Tax at Wiley. Kevin has over 20 years of experience in treasury, finance, and capital markets.

Monaco started their career at Winstar Communications in 1999 as Assistant Treasurer. In 2001, they moved to Cendant where they were Group Vice President & Asst. Treasurer. There, they were responsible for capital raising, stock issuance, and business financing for IPOs, divestitures, and tax-free spin-offs. Kevin also hired and developed a 15-person team.

In 2006, Monaco left Cendant to join Travelport Limited as Senior Vice President and Treasurer. Kevin structured global treasury and served as key executive advisor for integration of people, processes, and infrastructure for Travelport following Blackstone acquisition. Kevin also led FP&A and treasury initiatives for IPOs, acquisitions, and other large-scale business transactions.

Most recently, Monaco returned to John Wiley & Sons in 2009 as Senior Vice President, Treasurer and Tax. In this role, they are responsible for all aspects of the company’s treasury function including capital markets activities, risk management, banking relationships, and cash management.

Kevin Monaco earned their MBA in Finance and Accounting from the University of Notre Dame - Mendoza College of Business with honors. Kevin also holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting from the University of Delaware.
