Lucas Manfield

Lucas Manfield is an experienced investigative reporter currently working at Willamette Week, focusing on cops, courts, and crime since July 2022. Prior roles include staff engineer at Hopin, and reporter at Mountain State Spotlight. Lucas has a strong background in technology, having served as Chief Technology Officer at Streamable and VP of Engineering at Recargo, Inc. Early career experiences include editorial fellow at Dallas Observer and reporting intern at inewsource. Lucas holds an M.S. with Honors from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and a B.S. in Symbolic Systems from Stanford University.
