John Thayer

Lead Articles Editor, Vol. 66 at William & Mary Law Review

John Thayer is currently a J.D. candidate at William & Mary Law School, expected to graduate in May 2025. Thayer contributes as the Lead Articles Editor for the William & Mary Law Review, having previously served as a staff member for Volume 65. As an Election Law Fellow, Thayer supports Professor Rebecca Green as a research assistant. Previous experience includes positions as a Summer Associate at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, a Legal Intern at the Brennan Center for Justice, and a Campaign Manager at The Hub Project, among other roles. Thayer's educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Politics with a minor in Spanish from Bates College and a high school diploma from Maret School.
